2001's Rising Star is
Tracey Dinh

Tracey was chosen from a large field of nominations as the future chef to watch as she makes her way. Tracey was selected to prepare a soup dish for the guests of this years' rising star event. Her Safron Leek with Sautéed Shrimp soup was the hit of the dinner; by the beginning of the next day there were numerous requests for her recipe from dinner guests, local food critics, and restaurant professionals.
